Special Mission
Dale Mayo - in his service to God and mankind - is selfless in his contributions to family, church, community, state, and nation. CUMC United Methodist Women unanimously recognize Dale as the Mission Person of the Year!  The selection criteria for this honor is outstanding customer service to Chapin's UMW.  A pin is given to the person(s) selected for this award.

UMW Scholarship
A scholarship is given annually to a church member who is pursuing higher education.  The method for selecting the recipient is by application review.  Applications for CUMC members are available in late February.  Award(s) are announced in April.

UMW Woman of the Year
The United Methodist Women of Chapin United Methodist Church are blessed to have among our membership Suzanne Medlock...a lady so deserving of the honor of our United Methodist Woman of the Year for 2007.  This is awarded to a member who has served the UMW in an outstanding manner over a period of years.  Service involving other church activities may also be considered.  The honoree is recognized and presented with a pin at a Sunday worship service.  The UMW Woman of the Year is recognized at the District Meeting, has her name engraved on the Woman of the Year plaque, and is presented a UMW pin.  Additionally, her photograph appears in the Chapin Methodist Women Directory.

Past President
A pin is given to the outgoing president in recognition of her leadership and service to the Chapin unit.
