make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of
the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have

If you are a young adult looking for a Sunday School class come join us in room 220 as we search for God's purpose for our lives. |

"Christian Homes" We are the "Christian Homes" adult Sunday school class. We are a Bible study class who uses God's Holy Word as our resource material. Our discussion leader is Wayne Shealy. We are a loving, caring group who are routinely in prayer for one another. In addition to our Sunday morning studies, we gather together periodically throughout the year for social events. We welcome visitors at any time. Please come join us! |

"United Christians" The United Christians Sunday School Class is a small multi-generational class that meets in the last classroom in the front hall on the end farthest away from the old fellowship hall. We have 20 on the roll and our Sunday morning attendance usually averages about 14. Our class uses the Adult Bible Studies, an official source for UMC. This series is designed to help adults understand the meaning and authority of the Bible for Christian Life. Our teachers include members of our class and various others who have volunteered. Teachers so far have included Bill Moody, Bill Bowen, Carl Connelly, Willie Chavis, Barbara and Linda Grant, and Pat Mayo. We are always interested in having new teachers. Class begins at 9:45 a.m. with a brief devotional by various class members. While we are a small class, we are active in Missions. We support both the Pfannistels and Outreach Ministries on a monthly basis as well as various other mission efforts. We Welcome You!! |

"Ann Smith's Truthseekers"
Our class has approximately 65 members on the roll. We have an average Sunday attendance of 30. Our membership is made up of a diverse group. Many of our members have school age children. Some members have grown children and boast of grandchildren. Our class has family outings and adult get-togethers. This class is very casual and encourages open discussion. We use the UMC Adult Bible series. Mike Swindall is currently teaching our class. We welcome you!
"Christian Fellowship"
This is an adult class of couples and singles. There is no age criterion but the majority of our class would be characterized as middle to older adults. There are 74 members enrolled with an average attendance of 40.
Basic lesson materials include Adult Bible studies and the New International Lesson
Annual. These publications are official resource materials for the United Methodist Church. They are designed to help adults understand the meaning and authority of the Bible for Christian life. Additional material is often incorporated into the lessons at the discretion of the individual teachers. There are three regular teachers and two substitutes. These teachers rotate on a monthly basis. Teachers are Ben Creed,
Lill Mood and Lisa Ray. Carl Connelly and Bill Bowen serve as substitutes. This class has a strong fellowship with a very caring ministry both within the class and beyond.
"Genesis"
We are a ladies only class that is open to ladies of all ages - married or single. We are studying the Books of the Old Testament and are aiming to examine all the Books of the Bible. The series we are using has a strong emphasis on Bible verses and provides background information for discussion on how each verse can be applied to every day life. Pat Martin is our teacher. We have a prayer and card ministry and we welcome visitors.
