 The Jolly Christians are a group of older adults that meet the 1st Wed. of the month except for Jan., July and August. You don't have to be old, just "jolly" to join in on the fun! We take our church bus on day road trips to interesting places. Or we may have a luncheon and program at the church. For more info call the church office at 345-2801. |

Senior adults are composed of the retired set who enjoy the monthly fun, fellowship and food gatherings. We meet on the fourth Wednesday of the month in room 206. The happenings start around 10:30 and end around 1:00 pm. Dress is casual and programs are varied. Community involvement is encouraged, so come and invite a friend! "Methodist Misfits" is part of our older adult group called "Friends". We are 22 older adults representing CUMC by performing with our kitchen band at area churches and nursing homes to bring joy to others. We perform once a month singing, dancing, telling jokes and playing our instruments made from anything you would find in a kitchen. We have as much fun as our audience. Singles are an active group from their 50's into their 80's. Our gathering spots vary from the church facility to member's homes to the lake! Cookouts, covered dishes and prepared meals have served us well! We usually meet the 4th Friday of the month at 6:00 pm, but the area agenda offers additional activities.
